Looking for suggestions of what to place on my living room coffee table other than a plant, which mine keep dying. The room is traditional.

On my coffee table, I have a medium size basket with potpourri and you can either change it with the season or to match the decor of the room.

Try a nice coffee table book, or a glass bowl filled with water, polished rocks, and floating candles looks nice as well and it is extremely difficult to kill.

Again keep it simple: on mine I have a few books stacked on top of each other, some candles, a pair of coasters and of course the ever present remote. But then again it depends on the size of the table but candles never die on you...stay away from plants if you don't have sun light or time to water them.
