  5. @laurenw7603 … probably, lol. its so funny hearing these birds … and by the way, its cage, not “cadge” … =]

  6. I could imagine people using this genius of nature for all sorts of things…. I wonder if they can imitate human speech… probably.

  7. if you were to put a cd on in his cadge could he play it back ??

  8. This bird is astounding. He’s better than Michael Winslow! Superb lyrebirds are truly the greatest of all passerines.

  9. @NightOfSarrow You mean in real life… right?

  10. WOW that’s amazing and…scary.

  11. These things are epic! I would so love to see one in person! ^.^

  12. @ jerramy……”They” didn’t “have” to teach it construction noises. If you bothered to read the video description, you will see that construction was going on near the lyre bird’s enclosure, and it just picked up these noises. The lyre bird was just mimicking it’s surroundings… as it would in the wild. Get educated, and maybe try learning how to read the video description first!

  13. 3:30 hee’s been making construction noises then he just starts whistling a if hee’s walking down the street lol

  14. agreed. the owners didn’t exactly go “here’s some construction music for you” lol

  15. Imagin camping near these birds in the woods..4 in the morning..after the birds just watch a horror movie..so they copy the horror sounds..lmfao you would probly die of fear

  16. Thank you for pointing that out NaturoLover6219! : )

  17. The “laugh” is the call of the Kookaburra.

  19. they have to be intelligent birds,

  20. Awesome! Im doing a 3-D Science Project on this bird, mainly for that reason!

  21. Allahu Akbar

  22. so amazing, and so sad….

  23. He really needs a girl!!!!

  24. Lyrebirds are so cool! I knew they could mimick but not like that! If I knew the one I seen near Sherbrooke Falls, Belgrave could do that I would have taught it swear words. But if you can’t find one it would seem that area surrounding Sherbrooke Falls in Belgrave is teeming with them. but what trips me is that all the other birds in the area like Kookaburras, Magpies & Cockatoos are VERY intelligent up there with the best…

  25. This is way better than beatboxing!
